Terms of use of the Maison Berger Paris loyalty programme

ARTICLE 1 - Purpose of the loyalty programme
The purpose of the Maison Berger Paris loyalty programme is, under the conditions set out in these general terms and conditions, to accumulate points and to offer its members a certain number of preferential and exclusive advantages.

ARTICLE 2 - Scope of validity
The Maison Berger Paris programme is only valid on the website www.maison-berger.co.uk

The advantages linked to the loyalty programme cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions or commercial operations in progress, unless otherwise stated.

ARTICLE 3 - How to join
Membership of the Maison Berger Paris loyalty programme can only be done via the website www.maison-berger.co.uk by creating an account on the page www.maison-berger.co.uk/account/login.

The loyalty programme is accessible subject to acceptance of the present general terms and conditions, and membership is free and open to any natural person over the age of 18, acting in a personal capacity, residing in United Kingdom.

To join the loyalty programme, you must enter your surname, first name and e-mail address. Membership will only be registered if the mandatory information requested is complete and usable. Any change in the personal details provided for the purposes of joining the loyalty programme must be notified as soon as possible by e-mail to contact@maisonberger.co.uk.

ARTICLE 4 - Points and rewards
4.1 Overall operation of the programme

The loyalty programme enables each member, once their customer account has been created, to earn points which will be added directly to their customer account. As soon as their balance allows, each member will be able to benefit from advantages, discounts or gifts on the www.maison-berger.co.uk website.

4.2 Accumulation of points

The accumulation of points requires prior identification of the member by logging into their loyalty account and is carried out with each purchase.

The points scale is £1 incl. VAT = 10 points. Other actions are possible in order to accumulate points on the customer account. Other missions can be activated or deactivated at the discretion of Maison Berger Paris.

4.3 Rewards and discounts

After checking that the missions have been carried out correctly, Maison Berger Paris allocates points to the members of the loyalty programme.

When the members of the loyalty programme have reached the number of points necessary to obtain a reward, they can claim it by clicking on ‘Redeem’.

4.4 Cancellation of points

Points relating to a purchase that has been refunded or returned will be cancelled and deducted from the member's loyalty account.

ARTICLE 5 - Protection of personal data
The protection of the personal data of the users of the Maison Berger Paris website is governed by the related Confidentiality Policy, www.maison-berger.co.uk/pages/uk-personal-data-protection-policy.

By exception, the present article indicates the specificities applicable to each user (hereafter referred to as ‘Member’) subscribing to the loyalty programme.

5.1 Means of collection

The Member's personal data is collected directly from him/her when he/she joins the loyalty programme on the www.maison-berger.co.uk website.

The Member is solely responsible for the quality of the personal data that he/she transmits to Maison Berger Paris.

5.2 Data collected

The following personal data are collected on a compulsory basis as part of membership of the programme: Instagram and Tiktok account name. This data is necessary for Maison Berger Paris to authenticate the Member and enable him/her to carry out the actions. The absence of such data, its irrelevance or its failure to be updated may result in a delay in the processing of the Member's request, or even its refusal.

The other personal data collected by Maison Berger Paris in the context of a membership is optional, in order to get to know the Member better and to send him/her communications adapted to his/her profile.

For example, Maison Berger Paris processes the purchase history of the Member and his/her use of the website (for example by collecting navigation data via cookies, subject to consent). This processing is not in itself necessary for the creation of a Member's account, but becomes necessary in order to manage the eligibility of the Member for the various advantages of the Maison Berger Paris programme.

This processing is based on the Member's consent.

Management of pre-litigation and litigation.
This processing is based on the legitimate interest of Maison Berger Paris in establishing proof of a right or contract.

5.4 Conservation periods

Maison Berger Paris keeps the personal data of the Member until the achievement of the purposes for which they were collected, that is to say for the duration of the membership to the Maison Berger Paris programme increased by the applicable legal prescription periods, in order in particular to keep the proof of the transactions.

Finally, the Member has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), in the event that he/she considers that he/she is unable to exercise his/her rights or wishes to report a breach of the rules for the protection of personal data.
